Collin Prater was born into the world of Dallas real estate development and construction.

Raised in Dallas, Collin went on to the University of Arkansas, earning a bachelor’s degree in Finance. After college, Collin spent two years working with Campus Crusade for Christ at the University of Arkansas before returning to Dallas to begin his real estate career.

In 2018 Collin formed Dalton Homes to combine his passion for development with his fresh approach to the residential design and building world.

Collin is married to the lovely Casey Prater, founder of Casey Prater Interiors, whose design aesthetic influences Collin’s home designs. They have two sons, Carter and Dalton, for whom Dalton Homes is named.
